Custom made tibetan rugs

Custom Tibetan Rugs are those which are manufactured as per your design, size and quality. When we talk for the quality, we mainly mean knots per square inch, to check the density part.

Tibetan area Rugs are mainly weaved under 45 knots, 60 knots, 80 knots and 100 knots quality, more higher knots like 150 and 200 knots are also made, but we are talking in general terms.

Indo-tibetan area rugs are handknotted rugs---- The Tibetan weaving technique is unique. Unlike other weaving traditions, the knots in a Tibetan rug are usually tied over a rod. When a row of knots is completed, the pile is cut and the rod is slipped out, leaving an overall flat surface.

These are made in wool, viscose, i.e. artificial silk, in hemp, in bamboo silk, in original silk and such other different kind of yarns.

Some of the pictures shows the different look of tibetan carpets and rugs, manufactured in india. If you have any queries, you may write us at sales@custom-rugs-custom-carpets.com
