What is Custom carpet? What are different types? How can we order custom carpet for a project? Which kind is best for our requirement and many endless questions...

We have realised that there are many customers who wish to have carpets, not any carpet, or rug of their own taste....or say that they wish to have carpets in their design, in their colour and more important in their desired sizes. There are many normal sizes of rugs, but they always want to have their own size...because this is not something they buy daily but once in 3-4 years.

we can send you the image of the rug of your designs, in colour as needed, in your size, in computer image, where you can see before your rug is made, as to how will it look like? Once you confirm we proceed with the manufacturing of custom carpets...

Flame reardent test for custom carpets

The carpets made and to be used for residential or commercial especially for hotels, is to be passed with one  very important tests called 16 CFR, Part 1630, this tests is also simliar to DOCFF -1-70 PILL test.

Our carpets have shown excellant result when we got the sample test of our production done. The criteria is that if it is below 1", its not good, but our carpet test shows 3.2-3.5 inch, which is very good and equivalent to First class result. We call our rugs, Flame Retardent Rugs

Besides this tests we also got some more tests done, and all came with excellant result :-

1. Colour fastness to washing wastness : IS/ISO 105-C-10:2006, METHOD A : This is also needed in many case. Its not only that you make the carpet, but its also must hat it should pass colour and washing fastness also. we did this.

2.  Abrasion test :wear and tear : IWS-TM-283 : The result was double good. The carpet yarn used in making the carpet should also be strengthful, to absorb the foot traffic, from medium to heavy this can easily bear the foot traffic

3. Hot metal Nut method : BS-4790-1987 : Its not only the carpet from top but also from other side, which has to be taken care. Radius of effected area maximum acceptable is 75mm. Our carpet result shwed 32, which is excellant.

The reason of us discussing these critical tests for carpets, is that its not just you buy carpet seeing the design, colour, but more important is what carpet you are buying...
