When we say sari silk yarn we mean the yarn made out of the fibre of sari. This is also known as recycled sari silk yarn. The yarn available in market so called recyled sari silk are in 100% viscose also 70 percent silk 30% viscose. The most popular and authentic is 90 percent silk and 10 percent other yarns. When we say 10 percent other yarn we mean that during the processing of sarees, some small fibres of other yarns are also mixed so we take surety of 90 percent silk.
Implication of sari silk :
1. Making beautiful handknotted carpets in pile with plain or in traditional or contemporary designs as per the clients interest.
2. Making flat woven rugs. These are mostly made in plain.
3. Stoles or throws
In view of increase in demand and usage of this kind of yarn 90 percent silk and 10 percent other yarn availability is less, so the clients are also opting for 100 percent viscose recycled saree silk yarn to meet out big demands.
These RECYCLED sari silk handknotted carpets are made in different qualities. It's basically knots per Sq inch.
The colours are bright and we'll as dull as desired by the clients. These sari silk rugs are getting very much popularity in European countries.
